The Education Civil Rights Alliance (ECRA) knows two things:
- We can change policies and win court cases on education civil rights, but real change in the classrooms can only happen with educator leadership and buy-in; and
- Educator leadership and buy-in – and education system transformation – won’t result from non-educators communicating with educators. It will only come when educators are taking action, including communicating with their peers, the media, and policy-makers.
That’s why the ECRA is working with educators across the country who want to take action to transform our schools into equitable places where all of our students — including historically marginalized students — can learn and grow.
